2 months to go before our March 2010 event!

2 Months To Go!!!

The Cradles 2 Crayons Staff would like to wish each of you a very Happy New Year. From our families to yours, we hope that you have a wonderful and healthy 2010!

It is now time to get busy and start preparing for the next event: March 4-6, 2010!

While we are looking for a bigger location, the event will be at Raintree again this year. We can’t thank the staff and congregation at Raintree enough for all they do to help us have a successful sale.

Consignors:
Things to do:
*Register
*transfer items from previous event
*Start tagging and sorting (all items must be sorted by gender and size)
*Make sure all items are barcoded tags; NOT hand-written

If you have pictures of some of your bigger items that you are selling, send them to Allison@cradles2crayons.net. These will be used in some of our marketing ways to help draw shoppers. The more shoppers we have, the more money you make!

Volunteers:
Volunteer time slots will open January 30th at noon! PLEASE PLEASE be ready to sign-up early as all of our spots fill quickly, usually within 24 hours. It is important to pick those times early and be prepared. All times are located on www.Cradles2crayons.net

Shoppers:
Get those running shoes and laundry baskets ready. Each and every sale gets bigger and bigger. Be sure to spread the word of our sale. We will again have a Midnight Madness Sale which will benefit the South Plains Food Bank. Please bring one can good item per person! Last year we raised over 300 pounds of food just in our Midnight Madness Sale! WAY TO GO! Yall are awesome!

VENDOR SPACE:
We always strive to bring you great vendors! Space is limited again this year. Should you or someone you know be interested in being a vendor (selling items as a business), please contact Cristi@cradles2crayons.net as soon as possible.

In September 2009, we introduced several new things that worked great:
1) A 5th pay station to the Midnight Madness Sale
2) Food drive to benefit South Plains Food Bank
3) A marketing team to help recruit more shoppers
4) Referral Program to help you earn $25 shopping pass

These things were added with a great advantage to everyone!!

C2C makes a monetary donation each sale based on total sales, donates clothes to a local charity and does not send any profits off to a franchise in other cities or states. All things are kept safe here in Lubbock and in Lubbock businesses! Can’t beat that!
